Icon's Journey Marathon introduces a new challenge... Spot running: the art of running or jogging on one spot for a chosen time or distance. Icons will purchase time and they will run to clock as many kilometres as they possibly can in that duration.

About the event
The Icon's Journey Marathon (a proud member of Proudly South African) presents to you it's 4th annual multi-sporting event.
The Icon’s Journey Marathon vision was inspired by President Nelson Mandela’s journey of growing up in the rural villages of the former Transkei homeland to becoming a Global Icon.
The art of running or jogging on one spot for a chosen time or distance. For The Icon’s Journey Marathon, event participants will purchase time and they will run to clock as many kilometres as they possibly can in that duration. This will take place whereever in the world you would like to take up the challenge from.

Participants compete at a venue of their own choice from around the world.
Results:
All results must be recorded by the participant on a fitness device of their choosing and manually uploaded onto our website before midnight on the day of the event to receive a medal.
