Icon's Journey Marathon introduces a new challenge... Spot running: the art of running or jogging on one spot for a chosen time or distance. Icons will purchase time and they will run to clock as many kilometres as they possibly can in that duration.

The Icon's Journey Marathon (a proud member of Proudly South African) presents to you it's 6th annual multi-sporting event.
The Icon’s Journey Marathon vision was inspired by President Nelson Mandela’s journey of growing up in the rural villages of the former Transkei homeland to becoming a Global Icon.
The art of running or jogging on one spot for a chosen time or distance. For The Icon’s Journey Marathon, event participants will purchase time and they will run to clock as many kilometres as they possibly can in that duration. This will take place physically at Nelson Mandela Museum, Mthatha.
