The Icon’s Journey Marathon vision was inspired by President Nelson Mandela’s journey of growing up in the rural villages of the former Transkei homeland to becoming a Global Icon.

Distance: 103kms Start & finish dates: Participants are eligible to cycle on any day between 01 July - 31 July 2026. 103km Cycling must be done in 1 day on a route chosen by the participant.
