We're excited to announce that the 2025 marathon will introduce virtual options! Take on our new challenge: 103km in 1-day Virtual Cycle 2025. Cycle 103km in 1 day on any route chosen by yourself. Get ready to push your limits!
The Icon's Journey Marathon (a proud member of Proudly South African) presents to you it's 7th annual multi-sporting event.
The Icon’s Journey Marathon vision was inspired by President Nelson Mandela’s journey of growing up in the rural villages of the former Transkei homeland to becoming a Global Icon.

RACE INFO: Route: Anywhere in the world. Distance: 103kms Start & finish dates: Participants are eligible to cycle on any day between 01 July - 31 July 2025. 103km Cycling must be done in 1 day on a route chosen by the participant.
